He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. <image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>Ms. Marnie founded Bloom Learning Support after being inspired by her own experiences as a teacher and a mother. The mission of Bloom Learning Support is to provide a safe space for all learners to practice and hone foundational literacy skills through structured, multi-sensory experiences based in the science of reading. We believe that play is at the core of how children learn and that children do well if they can. Bloom is here to really get to know your child and design, together with you, an individualized plan to meet their specific needs. As an elementary classroom teacher with more than 8 years of experience, Ms. Marnie has worked with a wide range of learners and has been inspired by the students that have needed more than the general classroom can provide. She has stayed up at night coming up with new ways to connect with them, and help them thrive. Marnie’s experience supporting her neurodivergent daughters has taught her about the importance of assembling a team with which you feel confident and comfortable. This inspired her to use her knowledge, expertise, empathy, and understanding to help other children bloom in their literacy development. Ms. Marnie can’t wait to be part of your child’s team!</image:caption>
